In 2024, Lucas Nobel and Frank Hoerning crossed paths on a job site, igniting the spark that would lead to the creation of National Plumbing Tradesmen. Observing inefficiencies in their field, they envisioned a better way to run a plumbing business.

Both men were deeply rooted in the plumbing industry. Frank, inspired by his father and uncles, began learning the trade in his childhood and never stopped. Luke, who started as a helper in Denver, Colorado, in the 1990s, leveraged his plumbing skills to travel extensively from Oahu, Hawaii, to Savannah, Georgia, before settling in Missouri. Luke's dedication to his craft was evident in his pursuit of Master Plumbing Licenses, amassing over 20 licenses across the United States, from the Gulf to Canada, and the Atlantic past the Mississippi River.

With their plumbing expertise solidified, they turned their attention to the business aspect. Hiring John Higgs as Chief Financial Officer was a pivotal move. John, who had successfully run his own business, brought a meticulous and perfectionist approach to the team, ensuring National Plumbing Tradesmen would be a tight-run company.

Combining Frank and Luke's decades of plumbing experience with John's business acumen, they were confident that a plumbing contractor business managed by actual plumbers would thrive. Their commitment to excellence, respect for the trade, and dedication to elevating plumbers through the ranks led to the establishment of National Plumbing Tradesmen, LLC. The company was born with a mission to raise industry standards and foster a culture of growth and respect for the trade.
